Ibobi inspects tourist spots

Imphal, June 04 2014:
The Government is taking various tourist destinations in Manipur either funded by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and North Eastern Council (NEC) .
There are also many more identified tourist spots that will be made tourist destinations soon.
On Wednesday, Manipur chief minister O Ibobi Singh has inspected Kaina Shri Shri Govindajee Tourist Complex and Andro Santhel Tourist Spot.

On the sideline of the inspection, the chief minister told the media that with funding from the Tourism Ministry these two tourist spots will be developed with needed infrastructure including a water body at the Kaina temple complex which is in Thoubal district of Manipur.

The Andro Santhel Tourist Spot has been funded by the NEC.
The chief minister then said the Pony Sanctuary at Heingang in Imphal East district and Kheba Ching at Khongjom are being developed.
Today's inspection of the chief minister was accompanied by Andro assembly constituency MLA Th Shyamkumar, former MLA Dr Kh Loken, Manipur Principal Tourism secretary Rajesh Kumar and concerned officials.
