Sensitisation prog held

A sensitisation programme for on “Two Years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.ED) for in-service untrained teachers” was conducted at Japhou community hall, Chandel District Headquarters today .
The programme was especially organised for untrained teachers, headmaster and headmistress from 179 primary schools under Autonomous District Council, Chandel .
Organised by ADC Chandel executive department and attended by ADC Chandel executive member (education) Ts Willingson, ADC Chandel chief executive officer Ts Kothari, Inspector of schools Tk Moshilpha, DI, AI among others .
Speaking at the event, Ts Willingson stated that the total 179 schools under ADC Chandel have not been able to produce good and successful students yet and organising such training programme will benefit the teachers and students at large .
He appealed all the teachers under ADC, Chandel to actively participate in the programme and genuinely dedicate their time to the students .
Tk Moshilpha stated that the D.El.ED programme is a necessary training which all the elementary teachers have to attend and added that the left out teachers will not be able to continue their profession as a teacher after March 31 .
