Chief Justice Sapre visits JMIC Kangpokpi

Chief Justice of Manipur High Court Abhay Manohar Sapre, paid a visit to the Court of Judicial Magistrate I Class, Kangpokpi yesterday.
Besides the staff of the Court of JMIC Kangpokpi, including its Judicial Magistrate Ningthoujam Lanleima, the Chief Justice and his better half were accorded a warm reception by the Kanggui Town Committee and Kanggui Women Welfare Organization at the court premises.
A Kuki traditional shawls were presented to the Chief Justice, his better half and the Law Secretary Ramesh Chandra, who accompanied him during the visit.
Among others, the Chief Justice was also accompanied by Registrar Manipur High Court, N Kotiswar; District and Session Judge Manipur West, Salam Mocha; Principal Secretary to Chief Justice; ADC Kangpokpi DK Thangboi; Addl SP Kangpokpi Zakir and some other high ranking officers during the visit.
AM Sapre also inspected the condition of the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Kangpokpi and assured to help meet all the court's requirement and fulfill its mission.
District and Session Court and a Jail are likely to come up in Kangpokpi, a reliable source said.
The source further added that, all necessary infrastructures of the court are in place.
The Chief Justice along with his companions also inspected the proposed site for the construction of District and Session Court.
