DoNER Director surprised over NLCPR works execution in Thoubal
Walls of Moreh Water Supply Scheme give in to hand scratches

The inspection tour of Director of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Rohtash Singh to get firsthand account on the progress of schemes and projects taken up in the state under Non Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR) completed today.
The DoNER Director would be leaving Imphal tomorrow along with the report of his inspection.
On the third day of his four-day long visit, Rohtash Singh inspected various development programmes being taken up under NLCPR in Thoubal district.
In some areas, he found the works satisfactory with full quality maintained, while for some other projects, he noted that the works have not been executed properly despite submission of utilization certificates (UC).
Yesterday, DoNER Director Rohtash Singh visited border town Moreh to take stock of similar developmental works being taken up under NLCPR there.

Accompanied by other government officials, Rohtash inspected the Moreh Water Supply Scheme and the 33 kv Power Sub-station.
He came across that the condition of the walls of the water supply scheme was in its worst condition with just a scratch by hand could easily crumble down the wall structure.
Before leaving Imphal tomorrow, the DoNER Director would be meeting the officials of different departments to review the progress of various projects at the Secretariat conference hall.
The meeting would be attended by Ministers of Health, Works, PHE, Veterinary, YAS, TD, Education (S), Education (U), Social Welfare and officials of RIMS and Manipur University.
The Director would be taking a detailed report of the meeting as well as of his inspection for submission to the Ministry concerned.
