CRPF establishes employment cell

A special drive was carried out to establish employment cell at Training Hub Chilchil today with a view to bring awareness among local youths related to recruitment in CAPFs and Army.
The drive was carried out with the aim to empower youth and create awareness, said a press note of 86 Bn CRPF .
CRPF has established a recruiting cell in Chilchil close to Shantipur, Kanglatongbi in Kangpokpi district.
The aim of the cell is to create awareness, give free training coaching and study materials to the children to join the armed forces, CAPFs and other civil services .

The recruitment cell is being established by 86 Bn CRPF under Imphal Range under the aegis of M&N sector IGP Vikram Sahgal, it informed .
About 150 youths from Shantipur and its neighbouring villages attended the awareness programme in which Brig (Retd) SK Sharma, DIG Imphal Range and Kalyan Singha, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF gave a slide show presentation to motivate the aspirants in terms of joining CAPFs and Army, it added .
On the other hand, the closing ceremony of 1st batch PI training of CRPF was concluded today at Training Hub Chilchil.
Brig (Retd) SK Sharma was the chief guest of the function .
At the outset, Kalyan Singha stressed on the importance of PI training for the troops being deployed in Manipur and Nagaland theatre.
This training was started on August 14 where 100 trainees from various units of Manipur and Nagaland theatre undergone strenuous training to get acquaint with the insurgent situations .
During the function, best outdoor and indoor trainees were awarded to boost their morale and efficiency to set exemplary to others.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Narendra Singh, 2 I/C 86 Bn CRPF, the press note added.
