The first instance occurred on December 20 last year while a marriage ceremony was on in the village.
Some guest were said to be affected by the poisoning of the water.

Again, on February 26 last while the Lungsang villagers were attending a worship service in the morning, a group of people noticed an abnormal colour in the water pipe.
On closer examination, it was discovered that the water was poisoned.
The nearby Koso village was informed of the matter and the VA secretary Hangmi Makan admitted that a resident of Koso village Yarteo Shishe could be the culprit.
Yarteo is also said to have threatened the villagers that they could be eliminated in a moment by poisoning their water source.
