Boys rescued

Imphal, June 28 2012:
Senapati Police today rescued four young boys who were being taken outside the State in a suspicious manner.
A police source informed that four boys between 12 to 15 years were sitting in the cabin of a Guwahati bound bus (MN-04A/2278) .
The four boys were noticed by a police team led by SI Ngoani Apemstone and SI Homendro during a routine checking/frisking exercise.
As the boys looked suspicious, the police team enquired the driver about them who reportedly disclosed that the four boys were brought to the bus counter at North AOC this morning by a woman.
The woman reportedly told the driver that the boys would be received by another person at Guwahati.
Though the source refused to divulge the names of the boys, it has been learnt that all of them belong to Lamsang area.
It is reported that the boys have been brought to Imphal.
