UNC leaders remanded

Imphal, November 26 2016:
UNC president Gaidon Kamei and information secretary Stephen Sangkhui have been remanded to police custody for a period of 14 days.
After they were arrested from Pheidinga by a team of Imphal West District Police yesterday, they were produced before a Senapati Court last evening.
The Court remanded them to police custody for 14 days.
An FIR has been registered against them at Mao police station and the FIR also took into account the incident of setting ablaze a loaded truck at Tadudi in the wee hours of November 21, informed a source.
