Bhabananda said the rally was organized with an aim to influence the youths of Manipur to stay away from drugs.
The motorcycle rally will spread the message of making Manipur a drug free society across the State.
He urged the people of Manipur to support the noble cause of BJP Manipur Pradesh and BJYM in fighting for a drug free Manipur and to completely root out drug smugglers.
MLA of Thangmeiband AC Kh Joykishan slammed the State Government for failing to take up positive steps to curb the menace of drug addiction and other drug related issues which have been plaguing Manipur for the last many decades.
He said there is no concrete policy by the State Government to save youths from drug addiction and trafficking.
People have seen the dark side of the present ruling Government and is aware that the Government is directly or indirectly supporting the drug trafficking, Joykishan alleged.
"A clear example is the incident where Special Intelligence Unit (SIU) which was specially set up to curb drug trafficking was disbanded after drugs worth several crores of rupee were seized at Tulihal Airport in 2013" he said.
He further condemned the burning of the effigy of Prime Minister and others Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee workers.
Such acts, he added, shows how uncivilized and barbaric Congress are, he said.
The campaign launched by BJP called 'Congress mukta Bharat' will succeed and it will bring a sea change in the entire country including Manipur, he said while urging the people to support BJP and to root out Congress from the State.
On the other hand, former MLA of Wangkhei AC Y Irabot denounced the State Home Department for disbanding the SIU who has been performing their duties efficiently.
Such acts showed that the State Government is against a drug free Manipur, he added.
