Mob vandalize residence of Kangpokpi bomb blast accused

Kangpokpi, March 26 2019:
A horde of people mostly womenfolk under the aegis of Kangpokpi Town Committee as per the verdict of the Town Committee Customary Department vandalized the residence of Kangpokpi bomb blast accused and dismissed the family from the town on March 23 .
The temporary residence of a self-styled Chairman of Kuki Defence Force (KDF), Limminlen Khongsai alias Philip Striker (29) s/o Lhunjalet Khongsai of Kangpokpi ward no 12, who originally hailed from Molnom village in Ukhrul District was vandalized this afternoon at around 12.30 pm .
The Customary Department of Kangpokpi Town Committee took the verdict as per resolution no 7 of the public meeting held on March 9 at Kangpokpi DHQs.
The self-styled Chairman of KDF is responsible in twin bomb blasts at Kangpokpi Town on October 19, 2018 and November 3, 2018 and another similar bomb blast at Keithelmanbi Military Colony on February 9, 2019 in Kangpokpi District.
He was apprehended by a combined team of Kangpokpi Police and 38 Assam Rifles in last week of February 2019 from Bongmol village while the security force also recovered huge arms and ammunition, explosive materials including many others items and important documents from his residence.
He was reportedly sent to jail on March 21 .
