24 in line for police medals

Imphal, January 25 2021:
Twenty four police officers and personnel have been named to receive the President's Medal for Distinguished Service, Police Medal for Meritorious Service, Ati-Utkrisht Seva Padak, Utkrisht Seva Padak, Antrik Suraksha Seva Padak for North East region and Union Home Minister's Medal for excellence in police training.
The personnel named for President's Medal for Distinguished Service include IGP E Priyokumar Singh, (IPS) and Subedar M Ibobi Singh of 6th IRB.
Seven personnel have been named for the Police Medal for Meritorious Service and they include Subedar Mangsidam Dimartan Singh of 4th IRB, SI Tuanjahau Simte of CID (SB), Havildar Rongshong Leiyah of 6th IRB, Rifleman Md Shahid Ahamed of 1st IRB, Havildar Sanabam Singh Bishorjit of 1st MR, Havil-dar AS Mayungkhui Zimik of MPTC and Havildar Lukram Lenin Meitei.
Those named for Ati-Utkrisht Seva Sadak include Director of MPTC RK Tutusana (IPS) and Havildar Ksh Rajen Singh of 1st MR.Havildar L Deben Singh of 1st MR and Rifleman Yumnam Milan Mangang of 1st MR have been named for Utkrisht Seva Padak.
Nine personnel are in line to receive the Antrik Suraksha Seva Padak for North East Region and they include ADGP C Doungel (ADGP, Modernisation), DIG K Kabib (IPS, then DIG Range II and III and now Range II), 2nd MR Commandant P Manjit Singh (MPS), Jemadar Chingtham Dhaneshwor of 8th MR, SI L Pratap Meetei (Imphal West), SI Kh Satish Singh (Imphal West), Jemadar Irom Kumarjit Singh of 5th MR, SI Kh Bobocha Singh (Imphal East), Havildar Chingtham Samsan Singh of 6th IRB.
The Union Home Minister's Medal for Excellence will be conferred on Jemadar Laishram Chingkheinganba of MPTC and Rifleman Thongam Ajit Singh of MPTC.
The medals are to be given on Republic Day.
