Minister hands over minibus to children home

Imphal, December 24 2019:
Health & Family Welfare Minister L Jayantakumar handed over a minibus to Tabitha Children Home, Mantripukhri, Imphal East, today.
The minibus is incurred under Community Social Responsibilities (CSR) Scheme, sponsored by the Airport Authority of India, Imphal International Airport.
Speaking at the occasion as the chief guest, L Jayantakumar said today's Christmas Eve was a memorable day since there is successfully signing of an MoU between ADC, Senapati and AAI for obtaining a mortuary van and drinking water Purifying, Technology in Senapati District apart handing over of the minibus.
The Minister lauded the efforts of AAI for delivering such service to the people who are in need of assistance.
He said that life is very important and no one wishes to meet an early death while assuring that the Heath Department is doing its best to protect and improve the public health and hygiene of the State.
The Minister also praised the endeavour of Community Social Responsibilities for working with a holistic approach.
The service of CSR is similar to those who serve themselves, he said.
The programme was also attended by C Arthur Worchuiyo, Director, TC& I, GoM, Sanjeev Jindal, Regional Executive Director, AAI (NER), Guwahati, Dr K Rajo Singh, Director of Health Services, Senthil, Director, AAI Imphal International Airport, A Satyajit Sharma, CSR, consultant and others.
