ATDUM demands arrest of culprits involved in carnapping

All Tribal Disables' Union Manipur (ATDUM) has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister demanding arrest of three persons involved in alleged car napping.
According to the memorandum, the three persons identified as Koko (28) of Chandel, Monothang Nangsha (34), s/o (L) Koshangthel Nangsha of Beaulahram village, Tengnoupal and Mothiltim (23), s/o Mochao of Beaulahram village, Tengnoupal 'forcefully snatched' a Bolero (white colour) bearing Registration No MN05A-6611 on the way to Beaulahram at around 10.30 am of June 13.The vehicle was sent to Beaulahram village for an important work and is registered under the name of the president of ATDUM, said the memorandum submitted by the general secretary of ATDUM T Chuongsin on Jun 22.The incident was reported to the 'concerned Police Station' in Tengnoupal on June 13 and subsequently an FIR was lodged.
However, the Police Station has failed to take any action till date, alleged ATDUM.
The memorandum asserted that Monothang Nangsha allegedly involved in the crime is a personnel of Manipur Rifle (MR).
ATDUM appealed the Chief Minister to look into the matter and effect arrest of the persons involved the crime.
Demanding termination of the alleged MR personnel from his service, ATDUM urged the Chief Minister to recover the vehicle and compensate for the incident.
