Imphal, January 24 2017:
The Kamatapur Liberation Organisation (KLO), NDFB, NLFT and PDCK too have called 24 hours total shut down from 12.01 am to 11.59 pm of January 26, the Republic Day of India in the entire Western South East Asia (WESEA) .
A joint statement issued by the four rebel outfits informed that emergency services, religious activities and media would be exempted from the purview of the total shut down.
"Let us not deceive ourselves by observing the 68th Indian Republic Day; it is the stabbing in the back of us for 68 years by the colonial Indian government", the outfits alleged.
It also called upon all the people of WESEA to boycott all scheduled Republic Day programmes.
Now is the time to intensify the struggle for freedom on all fronts.
To relax the efforts now would be a mistake which generations to come will not be able to forgive.
The sight of freedom looming on the horizon should encourage one and all to redouble their efforts.
Saying that it is only through disciplined mass action that victory can be assured, the rebel outfits appealed to all the people join them in the shaping of a new Western South East Asia.
The people of WeSEA have been living independently since time immemorial.
But colonist India is ruling the region forcefully and autocratically, they alleged.
By promulgating the AFSPA, India is creating havoc in entire WeSEA.
"As WeSEA is not a part of India, we are not Indians and we will not allow to perform the Republic Day celebration in our land", reads the statement.
India has no democracy but autocracy and kleptocracy.
One can see only banana republic in the WeSEAN region.
All must strive for victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival, added the joint statement.
