Infrastructures under School Fagathanshi Mission ready for inauguration

Education Minister S Rajen Singh has said that class rooms and.
other blocks including new construction and structures renovated under School Fagathanshi Mission will be inaugurated in the first part of December this year.
The Minister was speaking to media during his ongoing survey and inspection tour at selected schools in Patsoi, Nambol and Wangoi Assembly Constituencies in Imphal West district today.
During his visit at Malom Megha High School, the Minister interacted with the teaching and non-teaching staffs.
He inspected the existing building of the school and seeing, the present building, he instructed the engineering officials to replace the old roofing-sheets with a new one.
The Minister also informed the staff to keep the school campus neat and clean.
He was accompanied by MLA of Nambol Assembly Constituency N Loken Singh during his visit at Leimapokpam Government Public High School.
After the inspection of Leimapokpam Government Public High School, the ministerial team visited Nambol Naorem Jr High School and inspected the existing infrastructure of the school and surrounding.
On seeing the complicated boundary of the school, the Minister instructed the concerned Department and official for immediate demarcation of the school area to maintain a clear-cut school boundary.
Later, the Minister also visited L Sanoi College, Nambol.
He was joined by Prof S Tikendra.
Singh, president, Bharatya Janata Party, BJP, Manipur and also by locals of Nambol.
The team interacted with the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college regarding the development of the college.
The request to construct boundary wall fencing around the college campus was heard by the Minister who also assured to consider the proposal according to the availability of Departmental fund.
The ministerial team also visited Nambol Collegiate High School.
During the visit Prof S Tikendra Singh said the steps being taken up by the present government to develop education sector is worth appreciating.
The Minister said that under the School Fagathansi Mission, the Education Department has been visiting Government schools located at different Assembly Constituencies examining the requirements at the respective schools.
He said that the Sub-Task Force for the proper implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) will be announced in a day or two.
Later, Minister Rajen Singh visited Yumnam Huidrom Government High School where he was received by Agriculture Minister O Lukhoi Singh.
The two Ministers inspected the work progress of the school.
The Education Minister instructed the Departmental officials to take up necessary action for early completion of the school building which is under construction.
Additional Director, Education (S), Valley, Kh Bisheshwar; officials and staff of the Education Department and Education Engineering Wing were also present during the visit.
