KNF-N halts PMGSY construction works

Kangpokpi, January 23 2021:
The Kuki National Front (Nehlun), a non SoO Kuki militant outfit strongly condemned the alleged killing of an assistant driver of a JCB engaged in the road construction work under PMGSY in Saikul Subdivision and declared a total shutdown of the construction work.
The outfit's Information and Publicity Secretary, Gou @ Kuki said that the outfit vehemently condemned the brutal murdered of Lunkhogin Touthang, the second son of Seipao Touthang, Chief of Twichin Village, Saikul Subdivision, Kangpokpi district.
Lunkhogin Touthang, an assistant driver of JCB under PMGSY Road Construction was killed by unknown miscreants and his dead body was found between Thangjingpokpi and Rishophung village on January 21, he added.
Gou also said that the outfit will not remain a silent spectator over the incident.
The KNF(N) condemned the broad daylight killing of the driver in its operational area and declared a total cease of the ongoing PMGSY construction work effective from January 23 until the reason for the unfortunate incident is known.
The outfit also conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
