Kakching, May 22 2023:
To engage the displaced students in academic activities and to ensure that they do not lag behind in their educational courses, many have been donating books for the students who are taking refuge in relief camps across the State.
Books and study materials were distributed to Class 9, 10 and 12 students taking shelter at Grace Cottage Academy relief camp, Kakching Lourel Lambi today.

The Peace Committee Kakching formed under the aegis of Kakching District Administration which is managing the relief camp in a statement said that study materials have been distributed to divert their minds from the trauma and stress of the prevailing communal conflict and help them focus in their studies.
The committee also extended gratitude to all who have been extending aid and supporting the camp amid the ongoing tough times.
Further the committee called for an end of the turmoil and strive for restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
