Imphal, November 17 2012:
Apart from sending cultural troupes, Thailand would open 14 jewellery and handicraft stalls in the Manipur Sangai Festival.
According to information received from Commerce and Industries Department, Manipur would open its own stalls during the 10-day long festival.
Ghana too may open a stall.
All the 14 Thai stalls would exhibit/sell jewellery, handicraft and gift items.
Officials representing Thailand Govt would also take part in the mega festival.
In addition to cultural troupes from each and every district of Manipur, a cultural troupe from Thailand would also perform at the festival, said a source.
