PNB donates medical equipment worth Rs 80 lakh

Imphal, November 10 2021:
As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, the Punjab National Bank (PNB) contributed Rs 80 lakhs in eight districts of Manipur where medical equipment have been installed in different District Hospitals and Primary Health Centres (PHCs).
The Chief Minister, N Biren Singh inaugurated the same in the presence of Manish Debbarma, Circle Head of Imphal Circle and senior officials from Imphal Circle namely Saroj Roy, S Stevan Aimol and Ngakham Nirmala, said a press release issued by the Chief Manager, PNB, Imphal Circle.
During the event, Manish Debbarma informed the Chief Minister that PNB has established a new Circle Office at Imphal which will have administrative control of all the branches of Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland.
For the development of the State, PNB is also initiating various activities like opening of new branches and four RSETI for imparting skill development of rural unemployed people for employment generation, added the press release.
Also it further informed that PNB Loan Point (PLP) will be in operation in Imphal from next week for speedy disposal of loan proposals.
