Sit-in protest staged against suspicious death of Babysana at Tbl and Bpr

Thoubal, August 07 2019:
In protest against the inability of the concerned authority and police department to deliver justice in the suspicious death of N Babysana Chanu, a Class VII student of Standard Robarth Higher Secondary School, Canchipur, who was found death in the boarding of the school, women vendors staged a sit-in at Thoubal keithel and later took out a protest rally to vent out their disappointment over the handling of the case by the authority.

During the sit-in protest organized by Thoubal Keithel Fambi Mathak Makha Apunba, the women vendors closed down the market and took out a protest rally from Thoubal keithel to Melaground raising slogans condemning the mysterious death of Babysana, the way the case has been handled by the authority and demanding the arrest of the culprits and delivery of justice at the earliest.
Speaking to the media persons, secretary, Thoubal Keithel Fambi Mathak Makha Apunba, H Budhipati Devi expressed disappointment over the concerned authority for failing to book the culprits of late Babysana who was found death in a very suspicious manner in the school boarding adding that the women vendors of Thoubal keithel will support the ongoing agitation and future course of action initiated by the JAC in pursuit of justice.
BISHNUPUR: A sit-in protest was also staged at Nambol keithel today against the mysterious death of N Babysana demanding swift delivery of justice.
A public rally was also marched from Nambol keithel to Phoijing Chingmang.
Speaking to the media persons, secretary Nambol Apunba Meira Paibi Nupi Lup, L Premila Leima said that the death of Babysana is highly suspicious and urged the State Govt to arrest all the persons involved in the case at the earliest.
Passenger vehicle drivers, rickshaw drivers, women vendors, shopkeepers took part in the sit-in protest.
