Interaction cum counselling of CCLs held

A one day interaction cum counselling session of children in conflict with law (CCLs) was organised by Manipur State Legal Services Authority at Observation Home, Samaram, Thoubal district today.
The program was organised in continuation with the "Interaction cum counselling session of CCLs" held at Observation Home cum Special Home located at Takyelpat, Imphal West on September 27, said a press release issued by MASLSA.
Executive Chairman, MASLSA as well as Judge, High Court of Manipur Justice Kh Nobin, Member Secretary, MASLSA G Gaiphulshillu, Deputy Member Secretary, MASLSA Sorokhaibam Sadananda, Professor and Head (Department of Psychiatry) RIMS Dr R K Lenin and his team headed by Dr L Roshan (Assistant Professor, Dept of Clinical Psychology, RIMS) attended the programme.
The programme focused on groups as well as individual counselling of all the CCLs, currently housed in the Observation Home.
During the group counselling, Dr RK Lenin emphasized on the causes and effects of depression, anxiety and self guilt and at the same time elaborated on some of the preventive measures which can be taken up.
Justice Kh Nobin lauded Dr RK Lenin and his team for their valuable and meaningful inputs and for making the program a success.
He also shared words of encouragement for the children and expressed that such programme will be conducted at the remaining Observation homes in Manipur.
The programme concluded with presentation of gifts to the CCLs by Justice Kh Nobin, Dr RK Lenin and G Gaiphulshillu.
