MSF condemns racial attacks on NE people at Delhi

The Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) condemned the racial discrimination and and racial attack on the people of the North East in the capital, New Delhi.
During a press meet held at Keisamthong, Top Leirak, Th Udoy, Advisor, MSF, said that along with the General Secretary and Secretary, External Affairs of MSF visited the capital from February 13 to March 2, 2014 to examine the situation of the recent spate of racial attacks on the North Eastern people.
He claimed that the Manipur MLAs and Ministers in New Delhi stayed aloof from trying to resolve the heated issues.
Apart from visiting the victims, they did not initiate any measures and steps to investigate the cause of the attacks and how to ensure that those incidents do not occur again in future.
He also said that Manipur outer and inner MPs, Thangso Baite and Meinya did not utter even a word on the recent racial attacks which showed their incompetency to be the public.
Th Udoy urged the students and people of Manipur in New Delhi to be on guard and prevent themselves from getting invloved into any trouble.
