3 more persons succumb to COVID-19 in Bishnupur; death toll touches 57

Bishnupur, May 10 2021:
The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Bishnupur has climbed to 57 with three more person succumbing to the disease while another 31 positive cases were reported today.
The latest victims, one male aged 61 succumbed to COVID-19 at Bishnupur District Hospital; one male aged 42 at Raj Medicity Imphal and another male aged 39 at RIMS Imphal; taking the cumulative COVID-19 death in the district to 57 (39M/18F), as per the statement issued by District Information Officer, Bishnupur.
Meanwhile, among the 31 new infected cases reported in the last 24 hours, 18 were male and 13 were female.
The total number of positive cases in the district as of May 10 is 1768 which includes 1735 locals and 33 Army/CAPF personnel, while 1484 have recovered.
Out of the 1484 persons, 1451 were locals and 33 were Army/CAPF personnel.
Besides, among the 227 active cases, 59 persons are at Covid Care Centre, Bishnupur; 117 in Home Isolation and 51 at Hospitals out of the district.
As per the information provided by the District Health and District Hospital authorities, the number of beds at Covid Care centre, Bishnupur as of now is 78, in which 59 are occupied.
The number of COVID-19 patients on oxygen support is 16.It may be mentioned that 25 D Type Cylinders and 21 B Type Cylinders are available as of date in the District.
5 D Type oxygen cylinders are currently in use.
