Wounded wild animals administered treatment

A Malayan box turtle with a complaint of tangled fishing hook was successfully treated by a veterinary team of Paws and Claws today.
The turtle was handed over by Guruaribam Suresh Sharma of Khangembam Huidrom Leikai.
He brought it from Pisum bazar from a woman.
The turtle is now with PFA.
Claws and Paws Veterinary Clinic, Keishampat Churachandpur parking, Imphal West has informed PFA that the clinic would provide free treatment to wild animals brought to the clinic for treatment by PFA and avail medicines free of cost at the initiative of Dr Konsam Devkishore, owner of the clinic, according to a PFA statement.
In another incident, one Sagolsem Ibomcha of Charangpat Mayai Leikai handed over a Eurasian Buzzard to PFA.
The buzzard had accidentally landed on the ground after it was brutally chased and attacked by crows.
After treatment the buzzard was released today.
PFA also warned that no poachers will be spared and public vehicle found carrying such poachers along with birds will also meet the same fate.
PFA further requested all the paddy farmers of Manipur to stop poachers from setting their bird nets at the paddy fields.
