8 clubs join hands to form CRUCO

Eight local clubs in and around Kwakeithel areas have joined together to form an organisation called "Chingphu Road United Clubs' Organisation (CRUCO), Kwakeithel" today during a meeting at the office of AMUCO.
The meeting presided by AMUCO's president Pheiroijam Nando Luwang was also attended by AMUCO's secretary organisation, S Jameskumar and other key members along with clubs' members.
The member clubs/organisations of the newly formed conglomerate organisation are Brightway Club, Kwakeithel Lamdong Leikai; SUN Club, Mongshangei; New Step Organisation (NSO), Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi Makha Leikai; Waisellakpa Iduningthou Lamjing Lup (WILL), Konjeng Leikai, Mongshangei; SICO, Haobam Marak Lourembam Leikai; DACA, Haobam Marak Lourembam Leikai Maning; Kwakeithel Akham Leikai Youth Club (KAYC) and Ireima Seva Association (ISA), Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai.
As per a statement of the new organisation, the first sitting of the body will be held on September 12 and will discuss to welcome and include more local clubs.
The organisation will work hand in hand with AMUCO, it said.
A 7-member executive committee was also formed to run the office of the newly formed organisation, it said.
Heisnam Kipgen of Brightway Club was named as the president of the committee while Soraisam Surendra Chenglei was appointed as the vice-president.
Wangkhem Menao Khuman of NSO, Ngangbam Sanayaima Khuman of SICO, Laishram Joy Khuman of DACA, Oinam Scott of WILL and Thiyam Subhachandra of KAYC were respectively named as the secretary general, joint secretary, secretary organisation, secretary publicity and secretary finance of the organisation, it said.
