Imphal, February 26 2015:
Reacting to the Governor's statement as mentioned in his customary address given on the opening day of the 10th session of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly yesterday, the proscribed PREPAK has alleged that the Government was trying to mislead the masses by claiming that the outfit was a party to a tripartite MoU signed with the Government.
PREPAK has no faith in any conditional peace talk, conveyed a press release issued by the outfit's assistant secretary, publicity and propaganda LeibakNgakpa Luwang.
PREPAK is very clear in its conviction to wage a revolutionary movement until the lost sovereignty of Kangleipak (Manipur) is restored.
Just because a few deserters showed up in the name of peace talk cannot project PREPAK in wrong light which has been waging a liberation in strict compliance with universal norms and rules.
The dubious peace talks initiated by the Government of India has exposed its true colours.
There had been several peace talks but all of them ended without achieving anything for all those peace talks lacked political perspective.
Rather than bringing any positive result, such peace talks have been multiplying people's misery apart from sowing seeds of division among different communities.
The proscribed outfit issued this particular statement in reaction to a Government claim which said that UPPK, several KCP factions, URF, KYKL(MDF) and PREPAK have signed a tripartite MoU.
