Traffic diversions for R-day, rehearsal

Imphal, January 22 2017:
In view of the Republic Day function and Rehearsal Day on January 23, the following traffic restrictions and diversions will be in force to avert congestion and any untoward incidents.
All vehicles coming from Singjamei side along NH-2 shall be diverted from Singjamei Bridge and New Thumbuthong Bridge towards Kongba side and then to Palace Compound where parking spaces are provided.
Vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side along Mayai Lambi shall be diverted from Keishampat Junction towards former Krishnadas Oil Pump.
Passenger vehicles can drop/pick up passengers beyond the former Oil Pump and can proceed towards Kwakeithel and then towards Ningthemcha Karong or Khagempalli road.
All vehicles coming from Tiddim road shall be diverted from Kwakeithel Bazaar towards Tera Bazaar-Naoremthong-Uripok Canteen road, Supermarket.
They may return via
Watham Leirak, Thangmeiband road, Nagamapal Road, Waheng Leikai road, Keishampat Junction.
Pick up of passenger for passenger vehicles can be done at Churachandpur Bus parking near former Krishnadas Oil Pump.
Vehicles coming from New Cachar Road may be parked at Sagolband Moirang Leirak parking.
Trucks shall be diverted from Tera Bazaar-Naoremthong-Canteen Road and Sana Keithel, Lamphelpat.
Vehicles coming from Kangchup side may be parked at the northern side of Uripok (i.e.beyond the end of Flyover Bridge).
Vehicles coming from Senapati side shall be diverted from Chingmeirong Khongnang Ani Karak towards Central Bus Terminus, Dingku road.
All vehicles may be diverted from North AOC towards Minuthong, RDS crossing, Kongba road then New Thumbuthong and Singjamei Bridge.
Vehicles may be diverted from Khongnang Ani Karak Junction towards Lilashing Khongnang Khong and Lamlong or Minuthong via Dingku road, Pandon road.
All vehicles crossing Minuthong and proceeding towards Imphal West will be diverted to Pandon road and Dingku road.
Vehicles coming from Andro and Yairipok side shall be stopped at Andro parking near Bheigo Shaw mill and parked there.
All four wheelers and two wheelers carrying passengers to witness the main functions can park at Lairembi Lampak near Keishampat Junction in front of Sessions Court and Krishnapremi Oil pump, Moirangkhom.
The Jail road from Nityaipat Chuthek to Northern gate of 1st MR will be a no-parking zone from 4 am till the function is over.
