Rally taken out, memorandum submitted

All Manipur Students Union, (AMSU) District Committee, Jiribam, Manipuri Students Federation (MSF) Special Branch and Kangleipak Student Association (KSA) District Council Jiribam organised a rally upto DC office, Jiribam today to submitted a four-point memorandum addressed to the Social Welfare Minister .
Placards with slogans like "We condemn the action of CDPO Jiribam", "We condemn the bias nature of MLA", "We want justice" "We want Justice" were carried by the participants during the rally.
After the absence of the DC, the memorandum was submitted to SDC, H Dhananjoy Singh .
Later a press meet was held at the office of AMSU District Committee Jiribam where it was recalled that, as per an advertisement issued by Jiribam ICDS Project office , intending candidates for the DPC interview submitted their relevant documents and the board member after giving their nod, conducted the interview .
It pointed out that the first Phase DPC board members included DPO Ringshangphy, MO, CHC Jiribam, Dr G Sonachand Sharma, CWC, Pradip Singh, CDPO, ICDS, Jiribam, Anima Roy and the DPC board of the second phase included MO CHC Jiribam, Dr G Sonachand Sharma, CDPO, ICDS, Jiribam, Anima Roy, DPO, Imphal East, Modhubala and ADC Jiribam, Birjit Singh .
After going through both the phases, the result of DPC was declared on October 3, 2016 and 116 candidates were given appointment orders by Anima Roy .
Anima Roy was transferred from Jiribam after some time and the newly posted CDPO in-charge, A Rajeshori Devi served show cause notice to 14 employees who got selected in the DPC and joined the office.
However, show cause notice for four employees out of the total 14, were cancelled after it was confirmed that they were the people of the local MLA, the association claimed .
According to the order issued by A Rajeshori Devi, the candidates submitted their Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC), issued by Jilla Parishad, Pradhan, Councillor JMC and ward members, and responded to the show cause notice within seven days to CDPO Jiribam .
Although all the necessary documents were submitted four months earlier, CDPO Jiribam has not given any response nor allowed the candidates to attend offices .
Moreover, their rightful honorarium have not been distributed till date, it added .
The organisation sought immediate attention of the authority concerned and Social Welfare Department .
The Manipur Anganwadi Mahila Organisation, Jiribam branch had earlier urged the authority concerned to take necessary action against CDPO, Jiribam A Rajeshori Devi.
