It is an academic and intellectual movement which follows its own procedures and always safeguards the collective interest and image of the teachers, said a statement issued by the general secretary of FEGOCTA.
Asserting that the philosophy of FEGOCTA is the maintenance of peaceful academic atmosphere as well as protection of the interests of the teaching community and the students, the statement said that the teachers' body is compelled to take legal recourse if the Government commits any wrong or issues arbitrary orders concerning the teaching community and higher education.
