Bishnupur, February 18 2019:
Students of Thanga High School protested against the school Principal, condemning the denial of admit cards to 21 class X drop out students.
There are 27 regular students for the school while 21 students dropped out of the institute.
Admit cards have been issued for the 27 students of class X but the remaining have been denied admit cards even though the exam is only two days away and despite the Principal allegedly promising in the past to issue the cards for the drop out students too.
After finding out that they have been denied their admit cards, the irate students did not allow the Principal to leave the school from late evening.
One of the students, while speaking to media persons, said that as per the assurance of the Chief Minister to provide education to the drop out students, 21 students who dropped out of the school, prepared together with the regular students in preparation for the class X examination.
The students will not allow the Board examination to be conducted at the school apart from boycotting the examination as well if admit cards are not issued to the drop outs.
