Imphal, November 16 2016:
Three children, including a baby, went missing as their mother who had joined the long queue to exchange money at the bank took a long time to come out at Moreh yesterday.
The mother did not come out of the queue afraid that she will miss her turn and the children started roaming around on not seeing their mother.
Soon the children lost their way as they are from a remote village called Thingphai, on the Indo-Myanmar border.
As news of the missing children spread, local people joined the search and the three children were at last found across the border at Namphalong.
The people of Namphalong provided shelter to the three children and handed them over to KSO, Moreh at 9.30 pm yesterday.
