Human rights forum slams CPCI

Jiribam, December 14 2011:
The CHIKIMS Human Rights Forum, Jiri Zone has slammed the Crime Prevention Council of India (CPCI), Manipur State Council which has its office at Jiribam for failing to serve its purpose.
The forum fumed that the CPCI, since its establishment, done nothing and even remained lock its offices.
It further urged the people of Jiribam not to rely on the doubtful information of CPCI.
Meanwhile, the Manipur Sahitya Parishad Jiribam has lauded the achievement of famed writer of Jiribam Biren Khumanpu for being conferred the Dr Ambedkar Literary Award 2011 .
The award was distributed by the President of India at New Delhi on December 11 .
