Bihar Battalion saves lives

The medical team of 12 Bihar Battalion of 9
Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Hqs IGAR (South) saved
the lives of two road accident victims yesterday.
Two persons namely Mackey Golmei (32) and Jenjenlu
Pame (34) from Majorkhul while travelling on a two-wheeler
met with an accident as the bike hit a water bowser coming
from the opposite direction.
The accident took place on NH-2 close to Tulihal Company
of 12 Bihar.
They were immediately brought to the medical
inspection room of the unit with severe injuries on forehead,
shoulder and hands.
Medical Officer with his medical team
immediately administered treatment to both the victims and
thereby saved precious lives.
The condition of the victims after
treatment was stable and their relatives were informed about
the accident and later discharged.
In another endeavour, the medical team of 12 Bihar saved
the life of a snake bite victim yesterday.
The victim named
Bogi Md Abdul Rahaman (43) of Mayang Imphal Bengoon
was bitten by a snake and brought to the medical inspection
room of the unit in critical condition.
The medical team suc-
cessfully saved his life, added the press release.
