Volunteers of Royal Riders Manipur (RRM) today extended monetary and material aid to RK Tamphasana at JNIMS hospital today.
The RRM team led by its president Miren Thangjam visited Tamphasana at Female Ortho Ward of JNIMS hospital at around 10.30 am.
Rs 20,400 including tuition fees for one year of two children, school uniform and other basic necessities for her two kids for one year were handed over.
On the other hand Unity Platform of Manipur (UPM), a social networking Whatapps group also extended monetary help to RK Tamphasana this afternoon.
The members of UPM handed over Rs 10,500 to RK Tamphasana and prayed for her speedy recovery.
Mention may be made that mother of three children RK Tamphasana has been bed-ridden since 2011 without any treatment as she couldn't stand up due to thinning out of her muscles on both legs.
After media highlighted her story, the JNIMS Director picked up from her residence and started giving free treatment at State-run hospital.
