Reeson received injuries when police cracked down on protesters who were staging a protest rally demanding implementation of ILP system in Manipur.
Speaking to media persons today at Manipur Press Club, Haobijam Mani said that his son Reeson received four wounds in his body.
He was treated at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
He was treated for 24 days at RIMS and was later discharged.
But now he developed symptoms of paralysis on right middle and ring fingers.
"I have consulted several doctors in the State and received feedback that it can only be treated at Ganga Hospital, a spinal cord and hand specialist located at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu" stated Mani.
The family is short of financial resource to take him there, he added.
He requested the generous public to provide support and help to meet medical expenses for the treatment.
Meanwhile, spokesperson of Nupi Samaj Chaokhat Khongthang Lamjing Lup added that the organisation will open help line centres in Khurai Heikrumakhong, Popular High School and Khurai Lamlong so that people can donate assistance for the cause.
