Free medical camp kicks off

A free medical camp organized jointly by Human Care Foundation and Dhanvataru Seva Yatra (Seva Bharati Manipur Branch) has kicked off at Khonghampat Mayai Leikai.
The camp is organised under the sponsorship of National Medico Organization.
About 200 patients suffering from various ailments were attended by ten doctors of the State and representatives of National Medico Organization.
Laishram Bobby Devi, managing trusty, said that various water-borne diseases and other various health grievances have been reported in the area which is the main reason why the medical camp has been organised.
She further said that many people from neighbouring villages of Khongampat like Pheidinga, Khamaram also attended the free medical camp.
Priyokumar Moirangthem said that NMO is also planning to conduct similar programme in rural and far flung villages of the State.
He further said that since 2011, Seva Bharati, Manipur Branch has been providing health care services to the people of Manipur.
Health camp will be organised in six different places in Senapati, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur and Imphal West districts from tomorrow onwards.
He said that doctors from JNIMS and RIMS along with two doctors from Jharkhand and Ahmedabad will be attending the patients during the camp.
