Imphal, August 01:
While hailing the initiative of the State Government to develop the site of the waterfall located in Sadu hills as a tourist spot, the All India Kangla Pakhangba Temple Development Society has asserted that the name of the waterfall should be either Waroi Ningthou Waterfall Complex or Waroi Eshing Chaibi Complex, conveyed a release issued by the Society.
Contending that the waterfall has been there with the name Waroiching Eshing Chaibi since 1000 BC, the Development and Protection United Voluntary Organisation, Nambol, in a press release, has appealed to both the State Government and the villagers living in the surrounding area of the waterfall not to make any attempt to change the name of the waterfall.
