MSC/CPI appeals for all political parties meet to address problems of State

Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister urging for an All Political Parties Meet in connection with the present political problems in Manipur.
In the memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister, the State Secretary MSC/CPI requested the Chief Minister to convene a meeting of all the political parties to share responsibilities equally and collectively to resolve the situation amicably.
The memorandum mentioned that the State Government is taking up remarkable jobs in connection with the drug trafficking, restoration of forest and unity among the different communities of the State and maintained that while taking up these tasks the Government might be facing certain problems.
"In such serious juncture, MSC/CPI had discussed thoroughly and resolved to stand at the forefront to save our State boundaries and integrities as we have a history to sacrifice for the people of Manipur, since the period of Jananeta Hijam Irawat the founder of Communist Party in the State", it added.
