Imphal, September 01 2013:
Board of Secondary Education Manipur has said that it has come to the notice of the Board that some schools recognised by the Board have been sending up students from un-recognised schools as their own students to take the HSLC examination.
The practice is in contravention of existing rules and regulations laid down by the Board, said BOSEM press release.
Urging all the recognised schools not to indulge in such unfair practice, BOSEM warned that all such students from unrecognised schools are not eligible to take the HSLC examination and their names would be deleted from the list of candidates.
The press release further said that the defaulting schools (recognised schools) would be liable to pay a fine of Rs One lakh failing which the would be debarred from sending up candidates for any future HSLC examinations.
