JNIMS Nurses and Non Teaching staff on 7th pay implementation

Imphal, September 29 2020:
Nurses Association of JNIMS Publicity Secretary N Jeni in a press release stated that the Non-teaching Association and Nurses' Association along with Nurses Association, JNIMS have submitted a joint application to the President, JNIMS society regarding non implementation of 7th Pay Commission for JNIMS.
The Non-Teaching Association comprises all grade -III, Grade -IV employees of JNIMS and Nurses' Association, comprising all the nurses working at JNIMS Hospital it said.
Nurses Association of JNIMS further states that the entire staff of JNIMS Hospital are working hard day and night serving the COVID-19 patients.
JNIMS employees are taking the main role in fighting against the disease.
Many departments in the state including the health Dept have credited the 7th Pay to their employees account while those who are serving by risking lives as COVID warriors have been neglected by the Govt, and fails to provide the 7th pay commission in time.
The two Association jointly took a decision to go further steps including agitation if the govt Fails to give 7th pay within the month of October on salary for the month of September 2020 it said the statement.
