KSO, AMSU Khangabok felicitate meritorious students

The Kuki Students' Organization, Kamjong District has organized a felicitation programme for the successful students in the recently declared Class X and XII examinations under BOSEM, CBSE, AISSE and COHSEM at Lhingkim Memorial Academy Campus at Chassad Village in Kamjong District today.
DC Kamjong District, Kengoo Zuringla who was supposed to grace the occasion as chief guest could not attend the programme owing to unavoidable officials meeting.
However, D Mangi Singh, MES, Zonal Education Officer, Kamjong and Rebecca C Haokip, Asst Manager, Central Bank of India, Imphal Branch attended as guest of honour and functional president respectively.

Pastor Thangkhomang Haokip, KBC No 17 attended as Thanksgiving and Blessing Minister apart from various other CSOs leaders including executives of Eastern Kuki Chiefs' Association (EKCA), South Eastern Kuki Youth Organization (SEKYO), Chief of all Kuki villages in Kamjong, executives of Kuki Youth Clubs, parents and guardians of successful students.
Despite of DC Kamjong unable to grace the occasion, she conveyed a strong message to all the meritorious students to work hard and struggle to become a responsible citizens in the future.
S Mangi Singh, MES, ZEO Kamjong motivated the students to put all their energy and effort in education as it is the only tool to light up their future while Rebecca C Haokip also encouraged the students in her short speech.
Pastor Thangkhomang Haokip invoked blessing prayer for all the students during the programme.
Altogether, 85 students successfully cleared the said examinations while only 30 students could attend the felicitation programme since most of them have already gone for further studies.
The meritorious students were awarded with Certificate of Appreciation by the KSO Kamjong District.
The programme anchored by Andrew Haokip and Hohoi Haokip ended with a gratitude message from Lalboi Haokip, president KSO Kamjong and Helun Vaiphei, general secretary.
On the other hand, the Kuki Students' Organisation, Phailengmol Island Block, today felicitated all the meritorious students of HSLC and HSSLC exam at S Bongjang village Kangpokpi District.
Village chiefs, Youth Club leaders, Headmasters and students of the area participated at the event with Paojamang Haokip, chief of Monglham as chief guest; Jampu Khongsai, president Kuki Inpi Phailengmol and Vahjahat Khongsai, president KWU Phailengmol as guests of honour while Letkhomang Khongsai, chief of S Bongjang as functional president.
Speaking at the occasion, Paojamang encouraged the students of the area to work hard to excel in life adding that peace can be achieved through good quality education.
Helun Touthang, Asst Prof attended the function as resource person.
THOUBAL: All Manipur Students Union (AMSU), Khangabok Branch has organized a meritorious award distribution function to honour outstanding students from Khangabok village and other achievers who have excelled in different fields at Lai Lam Thokpham Community Hall in Khangabok Mayai Leikai today.
The award function was attended by DC Thoubal, Haobam Roshita Devi as chief guest; president AMSU Thoubal District Committee K Haridev Sharma as funtional president while SP Thoubal Dr Sarangthem Ibomcha Singh, Commandent 3rd Battalion IRB, N Herojit Meitei, ZEO Zone-III Thoubal, Arambam Anilkumar Singh and Chairman Private School Development Committee Kh Menjor Mangang attended the function as guests of honour.
In the award function, 14 meritorious students of Class XII including Purnima Moirangthem, the 5th position holder in Class XII Commerce stream exam conducted by COHSEM and 19th position holder in Science stream Rakesh Ningthoujam; 15 Class X students including 24th position holder in Class X exam conducted by BOSEM, M Ranjan; 3 students who have cracked NEET-UG 2019; one students who has qualified IIT entrance exams; one Taekwondo players who had bagged gold in many national and international events; 1st rank holder in the 1st Mega Talent Show 2019 hosted by TOM TV, Kangabam Sanathoi among others were honoured with cash incentives, certificates, momentoes.
Tree saplings were also planted around the community hall as part of the function.
