8 political parties prepare to meet Shah

Regarding the tense situation in Manipur, a joint meeting of the eight political parties was hosted by the State unit of Janata Dal (United) at North AOC, today.
The eight political parties are JD (U), Indian National Congress, CPI, CPI (M), All India Trinamool Congress (AITC), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) and RSP.
At the function, National executive member of JD (U) Dr Nimaichand Luwang said that the eight political parties condemn the separate administration demand raised by 10 Chin-Kuki MLAs.
He said that the meeting deliberated on the violation of ground rules of SoO agreement by Kuki militants by torching houses and launching an attack at several places in the valley districts.
Dr Nimaichand further said that they are prepared to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Manipur and submit a memorandum .
Saying that the Government needs to review the SoO agreement, Dr Nimaichand appealed to the Government to lodge all cadres of SoO Kuki militant groups at their respective designated camps.
He claimed that the Indian Government must launch an extensive operation to push back the cadres of Myanmar based PDF from the soil of India.
Let a commission headed by a Judge of the Supreme Court study the violence of Manipur, he demanded.
