Works Minister inspects

Imphal, May 22 2016:
Works Minister Kh Biren today inspected the
sunken NH-102 road near Tengnoupal today,
reports our correspondent.
Temba Singh, Additional Chief Engineer
of National Highway and Debendro Singh,
Executive Engineer of National Highway
Division 2 were also part of the inspection
team.
After taking stock of the situation, JCB
excavators and trucks have been reportedly
put to use to repair the sunken portion of the
road.
A plan to construct a bailey bridge in the
area is already underway.
Required materials
will be transported from Kolkata within two
months.
