CRPF reaches out to people of Noney and K Senam under CAP

Noney, December 21 2021:
A passenger's waiting shed was handed over to the villagers of Marangjing Part-IV, under Noney district in the area of responsibility of 86 Bn CRPF under the aegis of MS Shekhawat, IGP Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF & under the supervision/initiation of Mohd Yusuf, Comdt-86 Bn CRPF.
The waiting shed was made under the Civic Action Programme which was conducted by the CRPF for a good relationship between villagers and security forces.
At the outset, Mohd Yusuf inaugurated the function as chief guest in the presence of village Chairman of village to whom the waiting shed was handed over.
The passenger's waiting shed is being handed over to the villagers keeping in view the dire need of the surrounding villages boarding transportation ahead to Imphal or toward Jiribam.

Mohd Yusuf while addressing the gathering extended immense gratitude to the villagers for their active participation in Civic Action programme and urged local villagers to availed the facilities of waiting shed in rain /summer.
Hoping that people from local villagers will definitely benefited by this waiting shed he also mentioned that CRPF is going to conduct more such programme in the interest of local villagers in near future so that needy villagers could be benefitted to bridge the CRPF and public relation for the benefit of the society.
The programme was also attended by Deepak Kumar, second-in-command 86 Bn CRPF, Danial L Hmar Asst.
Comdt and other officers of 86 Bn.CRPF, Village Chairman and the public of the surrounding areas applauded such beneficial initiative of 86 Bn CRPF and extended their immense gratitude with the hope of many more similar beneficial events in coming future.
The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by the Village Chairman of the Marangjing Part-IV, Noney.
In another instance, 86 Bn CRPF also organised a civic action programme at Senam Village in Kangpokpi District today.
Mohd Yusuf handed over water storage tanks to the village after CRPF was apprised of severe water scarcity and the need to store excess rain water during monsoon.
Speaking at the event, Mohd Yusuf said CRPF posted in the region were there not for security purposes but for the welfare of the people as well.
