Workshop on CCE

In connection with the one-day workshop on 'Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)' for teachers in Manipur teaching in Class XI and XII to be held at Johnstone Higher Secondary School on September 25, All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association advisor N Tomba has asked all concerned to attend the same without fail.
speaking to newspersons at Manipur Press Club today, Tomba said with the CCE already implemented in classes XI and XII from the current academic session participation in the said workshop to be conducted under the aegis of Board of Secondary Education Manipur, is mandatory for all the teachers of both Government and aided schools/colleges.
Further informing that under the CCE system performances of the students would be assessed based on 80 external assessment mark provided by the Board and 20 internal mark of the respective institutions, the advisor maintained that through implementation of the CCE since 2010 students had been benefited.
Explaining that proper understanding of the CCE system by the teachers has become inevitable for effective implementation of the new academic form, Tombi also conveyed that Manipur is the first among the North Eastern States to follow the pattern.
He also cautioned that complaints, if any, in the future by those who failed to attend the workshop will not be entertained.
