Six teachers axed for fraudulence, forgery

A total of six Graduate Teachers (RMSA) who submitted forged documents during the recruitment process have been terminated.
They were appointed as Graduate Teachers (RMSA) on December 22, 2016 .
Even though BEd degree is a compulsory prerequisite for Graduate Teachers, they submitted forged BEd certificates without pursuing BEd course.
The terminated teachers have been identified as Salam Tamphasana Devi (L Pabram High School) w/o Chabungbam Atom Meitei of Sagolband Meino Leirak Maisnam Nongthombam Leikai, Manshi Pamei (Ahmadabad High School, Jiribam) s/o Gairiupou Pamei of Chingkhiulong, Tamenglong district, Luckyson Mangte (Bongmol Govt High School) s/o late Akhang Mangte of Konomphai village, Churachandpur district, T Letkhagin Haokip (Bongmol Govt High School) s/o Thangmang Haokip of Tuibong, Churachandpur district, Akhamliu Gonmei (Nungkao High School, Tamenglong) d/o Guangtulung Gonmei of Nungba, Noney district and Kiusianang Kahmei (Chaton High School, Tamenglong) s/o Meiri Kahmei of Khumji Bazar, Noney.
Classes X, XII and BEd marksheets submitted by Tamphasana were found tampered.
Even though Manshi Pamei submitted certificates and marksheets of Post Graduate, School Education Department confirmed from the relevant authority that he did not study any PG course.
Marksheets of Classes X and XII submitted by him were also found forged.
Even though Luckyson Mangte, Letkhagin Haokip, Akhamliu Gonmei and Kiusianang Kahmei did not study any BEd course, all of them submitted forged BEd certificates and marksheets.
Education (S) Director Th Kirankumar today issued separate orders whereby all the six fraudulent teachers were terminated.
Moreover, the Additional State Project Director of the RMSA State Implementing Society has been directed to lodge FIRs against the six frauds within a month and also to recover pay and allowances drawn by them within six months.
