Kangpokpi Police provide Christmas gifts to less fortunate people

Kangpokpi, December 19 2019:
Ahead of Christmas, personnel of Kangpokpi Police Reserve Line bring festive cheer to five less fortunate individuals from Kangpokpi District by donating rice and dal as Christmas special gifts, today.
Interestingly, the police personnel presented the Christmas special gifts from money collected among them during their evening prayer service to bring some extra happiness to the less fortunate people at this magical time of year.
The Kangpokpi Police Reserve Line personnel donated one bag of rice and dal each to all the five less fortunate people they identified including a family of one of the expired VDF personal at J Tuiphai Village under Gamnom-Saparmeina Police Station, an old woman from G Gelbung Village and one old man from Pangmol Village.
Kangpokpi Addl SP Emmanuel Infimate also accompanied the Reserve Line personnel on their visit to the underprivileged people.
Kangpokpi SP, Hemant Pandey lauded the personnel for extending help to the needy people and rendering sincere and commendable service to the public in maintaining law and order in the district.
"I am really proud of my boys for such benevolence gesture and an inspiring act of kindness upon those people who may not be as fortunate as some others", the IPS officer said while adding that the initiative was purely from Reserve Line police personnel who contributed or collected money in each of their evening prayer services.
