Capacity building programme on 'Drug & Psychoactive substances' held

The Anti Drug Cell (ADC), Tronglaobi of Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign, District Level Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign Committee Bishnupur district jointly organised a capacity building programme on 'Drug & Psychoactive Substances' for the local volunteers and CSOs at Tronglaobi Makha Leikai Community hall today.
The programme was attended by Ngangkhalawai Zila Parishad, Mutum Birachandra Singh; Anti Drug Cell Tronglaobi, chairman, Konsam Bidyachandra Singh; District Social Welfare Officer Bishnupur, N Jotish Singh and Chief Functionary Anouba Punshikol IRCA, Keisham Pradipkumar as presidium members.
Addressing the programme, N Jotish stated that Bishnupur district was included among the 9 districts of Manipur in the list of most affected districts from all over India under the Nasha Mukt Bharat.
He highlighted the importance and goals of Nasha Mukt Bharat Campaign in detail and mentioned the 6 important parameters of the campaign.
He also emphasized the importance of treatment of drug addicts in Hospitals and IRCAs and appealed to refer the drug addicts to such centres for their treatment and rehabilitation.
