CM hails voters, casts vote

Imphal, April 18 2019:
Chief Minister N Biren has hailed all the people who turned out to vote for the 17th Lok Sabha today.
N Biren and his wife Hiyainu cast their votes at 2/16 Shreebon High School model polling station, Luwangshangbam Mamang Leikai, Heingang AC this morning.
Speaking to media persons outside the polling station, Biren remarked that today is the day for deciding the fate of Inner Manipur PC.

Saying that people may vote for candidates of their choice in a democracy, the Chief Minister expressed keen desire for all the electors to turn out on polling days.
Nonetheless, he said 'for Namo again'.
He said that it is essential to ensure Narendra Modi returns as the country's Prime Minister for a second term so that more development works can be taken up across the country.
Even though political parties and candidates made allegations and counter allegations against each other during the election, today is a very crucial day, Biren remarked.
He then appealed to all the electors to exercise their franchise and elect the candidate of their choice.
