Fire mishap at Moreh

Imphal, November 17 2011:
Properties worth several lakhs of rupees have been destroyed when a house accidentally caught fire this morning at the border town of Moreh.
The ravaging fire erupted from an automobile workshop located near Moreh Forest Gate at about 8.30 am.
The raging fire spread to the adjoining area and devastated two workshops and seven dwelling
houses.
Four Maruti vans and a jeep were also consumed by the inferno.
Fire tenders struggled for about one full hour in their effort to douse the raging fire.
However, there is no report of any human casualty.
